Water pump puke...>>

Had the timing belt in the TT replaced for the 2nd time and this was found.

The pump was leaking through the shaft seal. Not sure how long this has been going on.

Anyways, belt, idler, tensioner were all fine. I also had the fuel filter and tranny fluid replace.

Just getting ready for more driving fun!!!

damn

ya im doing my timing belt and its not fun...i think its more tricky than when i did my clutch...at least more is at stake..lol

ah crap... ah crap! siiiiiiiiiiigh!!!!!!!! is there anyway to verify this other than taking it apart

was there any coolant leak down to the belly pan or surrounding parts?

Very little. I thought it was from the time we had to relocat the reservoir tank>>>

when we replaced the engine mount. but I was wrong.

I did the last TB. But too much going on at work, so my good friend..>>

did it for me. He is opening a new repair shop soon, do mine was the guinea pig.

when you replace your oil, from underneath the car, did you inspect the area where the waterpump is?

what i'm trying to ask is "have you noticed any leakage from that area when you were under the car" judging from the picture, it's not a small drippage but rather some large amount of coolant has been leaked slowly since your last timing belt change.
