Default what the eff this is? the short and sweet from Aquamist:

water-injection equipment:

"The main function of these systems
is to suppress detonation caused by
high temperature and pressure developed
within the combustion chamber when
the effective compression ratio has
been taken beyond the auto-ignition point
by either a turbo or a supercharger.
Water, with its high latent heat content,
is extremely effective for controlling
not only the onset of detonation but also the
production of oxides of nitrogen in
the modern leanburn engines"

the concept was developed during WW II to permit ultra high boost in piston driven fighter planes, aka "wartime emergency power"

sound complicated? it is in my experience.. I used it on a normally aspirated high compression 8 liter (502 cu inch Cadillac) to supress detonation while towing

these sytems have come a long way since then, however (digital controls, etc)...

Inject a tightly controlled volume of water in a fine mist, into the air intake stream for detonation control, add alcohol to increase power

it's challenging to tune properly

Wow. That sounds like an extremely difficult solution.

Default no! you should really get water meth before the FMIC...

you will see far better results than the FMIC can do..FMIC can help, but w/m fights the heat directly...you also get far better gains in terms of performance...not to mention with my group buy the water/meth is cheaper...your looking at around 80 degrees in cooler temps...FMIC not even close..it also cleans your engine of virtually all carbon deposits...this will extend the life of your engine....FMIC just cools incoming air to near ambient temps
