Stealth, and not-so-stealth...Here's what the local gendarmes are using these days

notice the alloy wheels, and low-profile LED bars, ruggedized laptop in the center area, 'regular' license plates.

The Dodge Boys have hit the west metro Twin City area pretty hard. They are all over out here.

except huge cow catchers on the front. Whatever happened to patrol cars that look like patrol cars?

So with the stealth cars do they still preach the prevention angle? >>

They started using unmarked pick trucks here in Alberta (pick ups blend in better then black chargers)

Same here. Some have "SHERIFF" in red letters on the side, some don't.

yea, we got one around here.... only its a under cover..... tinted windows sitting on dubs

and they try to get ppl to race.

Different purposes. Some of the "stealth" are probably driven by investigators and the like.

Speed limit enforcement isn't the only thing police cars are used for. :^P

The antennas are a bit of a giveaway. :^) I love the push bar though, that thing looks mean.
