I'm in the market for an 01 or 00 TT for less than 13k.. Don't really need a quattro but kinda have

warmed up to the 225HP idea. This will be my 4th audi so I kinda know what i'm in for I think. I have an allroad and an a6 avant and have also owned an 98.5 A4 2.8 (which I should have just kept). Are there any "special" inherent maintenance surprises to the TT that I may be missing from my experience with my other audi's? Like it the Haldex differential problematic etc. Having owned the allroad I can't imagine the tt more maintenance intensive but I would hate to have my mind broadened after the purchase.

Searched around a little but wanted to ask anyway. Hard to gauge from the archives.

gaw read the FAQ's! there's audiforums, vortex and one here floatin around>>

that lists common issues and info...

In short though, it's similar issues to other audis, I don't think there's anything that ONLY breaks on the TT other than perhaps the glovebox.

Light Lake silver one in my sig will be available in 2-3 weeks.

Denim Blue interior, 88k miles, APR valet/stock/93/100, modshack ttda, milltek exhaust, ECS pullies, Tcarbon FMIC, upgraded forge intercooler hoses and silicon vac lines throughout. Up to date on maintainance. Other stuff I'm forgetting.

Will leave with mods for $13k. Also I could demod and work the price lower...
