Default Yes it's a bitch...

How I finally got it:

Slide it on cam gear 1/4" in the marked spot. This leaves a little extra slack.

Go to bottom and slide it on the crank at the marked position - you gotta pull that sucker. Once you get it in position - only slide it on 1/4".

Do the water pump last - you can actually get some leverage to pry it on.

Then slide it on all gears the rest of the way.

Pull the tensioner pin.

Hope that helps a bit!

Default Tensioner is on the slack side...>

You've marked the pully's and Belt, right?? Counted the groves etc? Just line up your marks.

Sometimes rotating the crank pulley Clockwise as you push the belt on helps. Make sure you don't skip a tooth.

Putting the belt on each pulley just a little way as Randy mentions makes it doable as opposed to seemingly impossible... Then work the belt back onto the pulleys..

Default If by compensate you mean...

... leave it off a tooth?

God no! Tensioner just keeps it tighter - which right now probably seems impossible :-)

Good luck man.

Default One more thing - before you pull the pin, check the crank position

against the t-mark on the flywheel to make absolutely sure
