Default Long term fuel trim @ 17-21 - Vac leak? short term at -4 to +4

So I had not used the LTF or STF gauges on my scangauge yet and today I looked at them and it seems like my LTF was too high- am I right?

Default yeah....looks high>>>>>

you may need to escalate the problem to VAG....check your g/sec.....could be a MAF or O2 sensor going bad...

Default You're about to go limp....>>

Usually does it at +22

Probably a MAF....Unplug it and see if it runs better (you'll get a CEL...Don't worry about it)

Default This definately caused my recent CEL - P1128 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Lean

Too lean at idle would be a maf problem?

On the scangauge LTF = Multiplicative or Partial throttle...(long term Fuel trim)

I thought STF was the multiplicative and LTF was the Additive

Default LTF is most important except for diagnosing Vac leaks..Then STF is useful..>>
