Dealer's offering less than $10k on 225s?

Dealer's offering less than $10k on 225s?
looking for cars (as if no one knew that) and I came upon a 225...guy said dealer is only offering him $9k on a 01 225 loaded coupe w/88k miles on it...think that sounds right?
Oh and re:timing belt...it went at 70k...new head and timing belt on the car as well.

most seem to running a bit higher then that up here
for a clean example...
While I am really trying to get this on e36 guy to sell his car I am still going to look at the unspoiled 00 180 Q as well..I mean the guy's asking $9k...getting him to $8k shouldn't be too hard. How could I turn that down..it's all set up for a stg 3...and this is a clean car..adult owned...etcetc
Plan would be stg 3 in 3-6 months

yea for the weight issue I'd say fwd...
but given the winter thing...quattro makes it nice and it means I can really go ahead and sell the jeep...
then stg it...lots of fun...
first question was whether it had the suspension recall (it's still unspoiled)...and it did...which sucks..but we'll see.
