Default I really need to learn more about it; I've been contemplating running that in my S4

in place of a regular ol' MBC

I see from the Modshack website that it's meant to go in-line with the N75?

Any idea how it would run *in place* of the N75?

Default just got mine installed like 3 days ago... couldnt be happier with it

pushing a harmonic 18 LBS of boost on a stock turbo and stock ecu.

pulls very nicely.

no complaints what so ever

just like spongebob said... fine tuning <<<< thats everything with the boost machine

In fact I have a tuner in Colorado (3zero3) that buys them primarily for that application. Suggest you retain all OEM safety gear by putting it in-line with the N75...With an S4 you have enough to worry about!...

Default Well, I'm running MBC-only at the moment...

I have GIAC programming that lets me adjust requested boost, and have played around with N75-only (not enough boost), N75 in parallel with MBC (weird IAT-compensation boost-spike > 6.5k rpm, making me way too lean), and MBC + TCD. TCD is set to 1BAR, so I set my requested boost to match that.

I was thinking or replacing the MBC alone with the boost machine to make part-throttle smoothness a bit better. Is there a way with the boost machine to kind of tweak my own boost curve? i.e. my turbos (RS6/K04 hybrids) can make 24+ psi at redline, but my fuel won't support it. I'd like to run a 24psi spike (4k RPM) and taper to 19 by 6500 rpm... that would match my fueling the best at the moment.

I've got a wideband and ECUx, so I'm being very careful to keep the car within its limits

If it doesn't work as desired return it like new and I'll kick you back 90% (10% to cover the hose you'll use and PP fees). There's almost 400 out there that I'm responsible for and probably a hundred or 2 more that were self made or done by another guy..I've only taken one back and that was a guy with a 150 hp TT on a stock chip (not recommended as a result)

I'm not familiar with the S4 but I'd say it's gotta be better, smoother than a cheap MBC. YOu should be able to narrow the difference between Max boost and hold for better overall performance and less heat (prolly your IAT issue)..Have you considered an adjustable FPR to tweak the fueling a bit?
