Default Koni FSD/Eibach/CPT's installed...

Started with measurements of 26" from fender to floor...going through the settling process, I expect it to rest at around 25 1/4".

It's obvious from the vast improvement in ride and handling that my stock equipment was shot, even the wife noted the significant changes. Thanks to everyone who's given their input and put up with my incessant questioning over the past few months.

Default I would be very interested in your results because......

with the exact same setup, I started at 27" (OEM) and only dropped to 26 1/2" (after FSD/Eibach/CPT's). After six weeks no settling whatsoever. Still holding at 26 1/2" all around.
I would have been better off without the Eibachs and then I wouldn't have needed the CPTs.
Very disappointed in the "drop" results. The car still looks stock although it handles beautifully thanks to the FSDs.

Default I was originally going for just the dampers...but some with stock springs reported a raise

I absolutely didn't want my suspension going any higher than it was. I should also note that I'm on 245/40's so that might account for a small difference in height.

I'll keep you posted as to where it ends up over the next few days.

Default Same issue you are having - too high!

I took my car to the shop where I bought the parts. They happened to have 2 other TT coupes there. One with Coilovers, one stock. My car was higher than the stock car! The took it all apart to make sure I didn't screw up the install. All was good there.

They even installed a front spring from a different kit just to rule out the chance I got the wrong ones. Still nothing.

Needless to say but the shop and I are quite frustrated. They are talking with Eibach to figure this out. I've been given the option of taking this kit out and swap in Koni coilovers.

All in all, I'm not happy with this kit what so ever. The rear end is sitting very low. Lower than most others I've seen with the Eibach/FSD combo. This of course is all due to my car having reverse rake.

I will be sure to keep you updated if you like. my email is vw_driverfound@hotmail.com

I had mine in for 3 weeks now and over 700 kms so far. Everyone at the shop said that it won't settle any more. I'm almost 1 inch lower in the rear...go figure.

Good luck with yours.

Default I helped with an FSD/Eibach installation that went up/\ in front...

It wasn't the Eibach springs... the same springs went down the proper amount on stock shocks. Measurments revealed the FSD's lower spring perch (the big welded on one) was simply in the wrong place, attached too high on the damper tube. IMHO it suggests inconsistency in Koni's manufacturing. Some cars go up, some go down...

This accounted for roughly half of the problem.

The other half: cheap replacement upper strut mounts... ECS has been selling these, manufactured who knows where. They're too big and too hard... they don't compress OR settle properly into the upper mount...

Either/both of these things can ruin your drop...
