In case you end up with a stripped Nut in your subframe depicted as #1 in the pic

I tried to clean the threads on the NUT but no joy I could only get 25lbs of torque on it. I picked up some 14.5 helicoil and knocked it out today. If someone else ends up doing this, please note the captured nut only needs one helicoil in it.

if it were my car, id remove the sub frame, bust out my compact grinder, toss on a cut off wheel, split open the side of the mount, remove the bad nut insert, and weld in a new one, then i would weld up where i cut open the mount. and install a gusset/patch to make sure it was more than stranger than when i started.
i had to do this on a few vw's where the owner got crazy w/ air tools and low iq's

Close #15 goes into #1
yep, we thought about doing the same; however, with all the other items that I need to focus on, I put the weld and cut off to a future date.
