Track day woes - polys come unseated and temp gauge goes wacky
So we hit the track yesterday for 5 sessions in a nice 80 degree breezy days. During the last couple sessions I noticed that my temp gauge had climbed to the one mark before full hot! So I hot pit and it immediately drops back to the normal position. I finish the session and its moving a bit back and forth. So next session - I set the climate control to show the readings - at idle it was near 95 when on track I hit 110 or so before it starts moving from center then hits 115 before moving to the one mark from full hot, then back to center at 110. Never has my car moved from center on track in even hotter conditions. Also - the fans never came on after coming off track - since the engine never appeared to get that hot.
Then when I go to swap my wheels back on at the end of the day - I notice this - both LCA's had become unseated on both of the rear poly bushes I had just installed. The tops were flush when they were installed with the lips right on the bottom of the arm as well. The Drivers side is a bit worse than this shown in the picture. I assume I installed these correctly. Needless to say i'm a bit pissed.
I ran the car with 100 octane all day and never noticed any hesitation under boost and it ran strong. I did tighten up all the hoses prior to track day so maybe I was having a bit of a high boost leak - we'll see how she does during the week.
I have done the Dragon several times with it, which is pretty intensive!!! Not sure what would cause that...
Here is my drivers side as of 10min ago with the wheel at FULL LOCK right....

The caps are on top, and a bit "frayed"...but appear to be fine...note the bottom appears almost "new" and fully intact....
Here is the passenger side basically in the same condition...
