looks great but why don't they just put the k04 on all of the cars
it's annoying. how much extra could it cost. $50-100. teh different map wouldn't cost anymore and fuel comsumption would be nearly the same. it's not a great turbo for for $50-$100 they could have a reliable 250+ hp BASE engine w/ sweeeet torque.

may very well replace the Touareg in my garage when the time comes. Will have to pass the back seat comfort test for family hauling duties though. My previous A4 Avant failed in that department.

Unless they've made a change for US - TTS won't get his engine but all other 2.0T's will be
based upon this architecture. If you look at the pics of the TTS engine bay - it has the old style 2.0T - no oil filter on top and dipstick is in the old location.
