TT oem seat questions-
I picked up a spare set of fronts from a local Craigslist seller for $100. Leather is in better shape than mine and since I plan to keep the car for some time, why not?
When I got them home I noticed two things different from my '01 seats; 1.) there's suede on the seat back above the hard plastic and 2.) the headrests are not really height adjustable without removing a tension pin clamping the post at the point where the post enters the seat.
My '01 headrests have a button release in the cushion that allows height adjustment, but these do not. So I like the suede backs, but the headrest design seems like a step backward.
Anyone know what year they switched these details?
