Guy today asked me if the TT was brand new.

When I told him it was an 01 he about lost his lower jaw. He said he had never seen one before (probably has and didn't know it). Either way it made me feel pretty good. I thanked him kindly... Made my day for sure. Just thought I would share that. :-)

I've gotten that alot with my 01...

I think maybe 5 or 6 times. I think it's just such an innovative design that to this day it still looks ahead of it's time.

Same with my '01. They've been out almost 10 years now... kind of baffles me.

yeah a lot of people are surprised when I tell them my car is an '01...

I had a conversation with a friend with a Passat, and she was like "well my car's much older than yours" and I asked her what year and she was like 01
