Need help dealing with this!
Since I bought my 2003 TT new, one of the front headlights would intermittently not come on. This became more frequent, and I took it in many times, while the car was under warranty, to have this issue resolved. Each time, the dealer would say that the problem was not reproducible, so nothing was done. I took the car in one final time before the warranty expired and listed the same issue. Again, no repairs made. The car now is not under warranty, and guess what? You guessed it - when I took the car in last week for scheduled maintenance, I again mentioned the problem, and, this time, they offered to fix it . . . for $1200. I thought I read somewhere that, if an issue is listed while under warranty and is not resolved, it is still covered under that warranty even when it has expired. Is that true? I've got to get this light fixed (it almost never ignites now), but I am not going to lay down the cash if I don't have to.

Yea I was going thought that kind of crap over my CD player.
It was just stuck & I was told it would be fixed under warrantee then when I drove the 90 miles down to the Audi dealership they said they wanted $853.00 to swap it out!! It was like what the hell are you guys smoking??? Kiss my ***!! So I "unstuck-it" myself for free! The warrantees are turning into a major scam any more and that one cost $4,800.00!!!! Money that seams was just pissed away for a worthless piece of paper. My advise; do everything you can to solve it your self. Use a meter and maybe its just a lose wire. Good Luck.
