Put ECS 10mm spacers on.... a spacer fitment question
Anyways... laying the wheel flat and putting them in there might have been a 1 to 2 tenths of a mm in some spots between the spacer and the wheel. I could slip a piece of paper between them. If I pushed on the spacer a bit with my hand these micro spaces went away.
I put them on and torqued them very slowly in the air, starting with finger tight then hand tight and incrementing up 30 ftlb, 55, 70, then 90. Somewhere after finger tight and between hand tight and 30ftlb all micro gaps went away and they were flush all around.
Am I ok? I ask because ECS states that some hubcentric rings on aftermarket wheels prevent the 10mm spacers from sitting flush to the wheels surface. They show this picture.

I'm assuming they are talking about the massive gap shown though.
I emailed ecs about it as well.. but thought I'd ask the collective as well in case anyone else had the ECS 10mm.
