3rd brake light removal for tint??? help?

Im getting my windows tinted and want them to tint the whole hatch window and not have a line where my brake light is. I assume the light needs to be removed but i cant figure out how to take it out. any help would be appreciated.

It slides out....>

There are 2 alignment clips. Not hard..

so just use force?...it doesnt seem to want to come out. pry w/screw driver?

It'll take some force....It's been a long time since I did this..>

slide toward the front of the car as I remember. I may have a spare lying around I an look at..

I think that if you do pry in just the right place (see second picture) it comes out a little easier.
