So sad, the lineage of the capri went downhill....

Auto tranny, it'd shift into '2' to try to make it up this one hill near my parents house, and that was just to hold 40mph. My 180 TT would pull that hill holding at about 3psi of boost in 5th gear in comparison.
Once over that hill, it'd pass a <a href="http://www.ascmclarencoupe.com/ascLiterature/ascMcLarenBrochures/84ascMcLarenCoupeBrochureInside.jpg">distant relative</a> though. They were on/off the fence about selling it every few months for a couple years. I finally give up that they're keeping it, and one day its gone.

I had one ordered,Tony...
but alas it didnt come in like I wanted.....yellow/black int 6cyl.....instead it was a 4cyl....I nixed it....fun ny thing is,Ive never owned a car wth more than 4..must have been a sign....

I had a 72 Ford Capri When I was 18. Great car for the time.
and have thought about getting one and modding it. After market parts were made by Rokstock. I've always loved the Capri. They're still around, as you have found out.
