mini dragon of the north?

This is the Appalachian Gap in Vermont Traveling westward. This was my first time on this road, so first pass traveling east was slow and easy, so I wouldn't have any surprises. Return trip, the camera was rolling.
It's about 40 minutes south of me. I'm in Burlington VT. Lovely view from the top (the transition between vids). I got out and snapped a pic real quick. Try to get that uploaded later tonight.
My Continental ContiExtremeContacts complained from time to time, but did their job well enough for a saturday afternoon drive. My IC's complained a bit more. It hit 100°F driving to the mountain, and at the peak, it was still 86°. Wish I hadn't loaned my vag-com out, I'd like to have checked oil temp with the 16 row mocal cooler I installed this spring.

Old vid, from when I had my 180, but still a fun drive. Can't believe the more twisty section is a 55 zone, while the easy half is 35mph.
Someday....

I could be wrong but for dragon-ish type roads it's better further south (WV/VA/NC). A good example is where TT-East is this year.
Yes I live near bear mtn, it's a nice place to drive and makes a good spot for a gtg but it's starting to loose it's appeal as I drive more roads.
Thats a pretty long haul for either of us though for a quick 6 miles of turns.
Here are 2 more good drives in upstate NY.

And I'm sure you know about 8, and 9W, perhaps even Rt. 30 and 10 heading up thru the Adirondack state lands.
Family has a place on Caroga lake just in the Adirondack foothills. Really nice area.
