Sorry to ask this again......ESP light....

I searched but didn't get the answer I was looking for. My ESP light has been on lately. I haven't notice any decrease in power and the MAF has been replaced. Is it most likely the Lat/Long sensors or just a dirty MAF? The ABS light has NOT come on so I'm leaning towards a dirty Mass Air Flow. Thoughts?

try unplugging MAF and see if it gets better

or plug it into a VAGCOM and see what codes it's throwing...

could be a horizontal or longitudinal G-sensor.

There are two sensors -- one of them, when it goes bad, trips only the ESP light.

Do you have access to a vag-com to read the fault codes? That should tell you what's going on.

maybe it's something with the Electronic Stability Program.

Thanks everyone but Mr. Fun...I unhooked the MAF....

and it still came on. I'll have to try to track down a VAGCOM to check it out.

It's OK. Sometimes we are a bit in disbelief that the indication is in fact the problem. The TT is.

so finicky that we often refuse to listen.

Good luck on the troubleshooting.
