I didn't really know anyone when I went to my first event (qdm 2007) >>
It didn't matter, I met people there and had a great time. Same thing with TTE. There is a reason people drive thousands of miles to get to these things. Normally I am not the social event kind of guy and yet I keep showing up and look forward to these events.
