Lets ask the WORST car that fell to crap soon after bought

Mine would have to be a Renault Alliance-CAR OF THE YEAR- think I got about 8k before it mysticaly caught on FIRE ( hope I can't be traced for insurance fraud)OK if you had a YUGO you have me beat!!

This was my first car. I got it used from a friend of the family for free. Lasted 2 months then the steering went out and I crashed into the curb (wheel turned and turned but did nothing). If it happened 2 minutes earlier I would have been on the highway.

The car was ahead of it's time, it even had an engine start button

that my dad and I put in to take the place of a bad ignition switch (start position was bad).

I think this quote from one of the "worst cars ever" lists covers it nicely:
