On an entirely stock suspension setup, what's the best way to adjust the rear camber?
It looks like the two ways to adjust this is via the KMACs or with adjustable rear control arms ......
I'm not exactly sure which one I should do? Any suggestions? It looks like previous posts have mentioned you can do it either way. After you install it, should you get another alignment?
Since the front camber/toe is adjustable, I'm going to try and get that to be -.8 degrees and neutral, and hopefully get the rear toe near neutral. Rear cambers are off, below are the specs from my last alignment in case that sheds more light:
TTQ Quattro 2002 225HP
FRONT-LEFT
Camber: -0.7, -0.6
Caster: 6.7, 6.7
Toe: 0.07, -.10
SAI: 12.6, 12.6
Included Angle: 12.0, 12.0
FRONT-RIGHT
Camber: -1.0, -1.1
Caster: 6.9, 6.9
Toe: 0.09, 0.15
SAI: 11.7, 11.8
Included Angle: 10.7, 10.7
FRONT
Cross Camber: 0.3, 0.4
Cross Caster: -.1, -.1
Cross SAI: 0.9, 0.8
Total Toe: 0.16, 0.05
REAR-LEFT
Camber: -1.9, -1.9
Toe: 0.14, 0.15
REAR-RIGHT
Camber: -2.0, -2.1
Toe: 0.17, 0.20
REAR
Cross Camber: 0.1, 0.1
Total Toe: 0.31, 0.35
Thrust Angle: -.01, -.03
Axel Offset: 0.0 inch, 0.0 inch
Two aside questions

for the FWD version (not quattro), should the camber/toe settings be the same (ideally) as the quattro? Also, is everything adjustable except the rear camber like the quattro? thanks

To get to a factory setting which is what was posted, you should not need any aftermarket kit on a stock suspension to get to that setting....unless something is bent. There OEM setup can be adjusted a bit....
Find someone that can do good alignments....then look at mods later...
