Default Scangauge remounted

Like a lot of us this weekend I'm trying to finish up the prep for TT-East. I've always been dissatisfied with my initial Scangauge mounting as there were exposed wires that wouldn't allow me to close the dash cubby. I went in this morning and did a little cutting, drilling, crimping, gluing, and tucking. It's a permanent means of installing the device cable, but worth the refound aesthetic. Nothing too technical about this so I didn't feel the need for an entire write-up. Tools were a drill, some torx bits, and an RJ-45 crimper.

FWIW, I was interrupted during my install and had to make a side trip without the gauge in place...I felt naked...this is a real "must have" device. Not quite a Vag-com or a Liquid TT...but resetting CEL's on the fly is just TOO sweet.

Drilled a diameter to allow cable passage...

Default that's such a great spot for it...

I wanted to put mine there, but I have made an iPod dock for that little cubby. Mine is still on the ledge underneath the dash.
