Default recently swapped my DV out with a Forge Splitter DV. its much easier to adjust than the RS

version...and has been running very nice so far.

i'm using it in the BOV/recirc combo. the BO noise isn't obnoxious...subtle. no flutter or honking. had alot of flutter with my Forge RS DV which i couldn't get rid of no matter how i adjusted it. the SPLTR is holding 26psi very well...and no CELs like some reported (installed in reverse orientation). just for those that are curious...these are the DVs i've had so far...

Bosch 710N
Forge 006
Forge 007
Hyperboost
Hyperboost HX
Hyperboost HX compact
GFB Stealth FX BOV
APR R1
Forge RS
Forge SPLTR (current)

i think those were it IIRC.

Default its a dahlback. runs rich and high psi...

Default Typical dahlback programming...>>

I was also amazed to see he doesn't modulate the N75 programming at all..84% duty cycle throughout the range. Most programming starts at 98% (wastegate closed and immediate boost), and gradually bleeds boost down to about the 70% level. Dahlback is a typical Euro style High RPM HP program. Different than most.

Default because of the low 80% duty cycle...they claim that there's less heat generated, which

is why they run it up so high. i don't really mind...but it did take some time to adjust my driving habits after having an APR chip in (which, BTW, failed due to some slocky soldering).

Default Geez - and you were giving me a hard time about farting around in the engine compartment? ;-)

I like the RS, except my new one is sounding like you describe; I really didn't have flutter with the other one (which I just shipped out Thursday...). I may just learn to live with this for awhile.

Default the fluttering bothered me...

and besides, it just didn't make for a 'sound' engine. the blow off noise doesn't bother me...since it is really silent until you get on it...and even then, it is subtle. i like it so far. the forge RS wasn't bad...but i felt that it just wasn't right for my car. could be the higher psi that i'm pushing, who knows.
