Well......this car now gives new meaning to the word "absurd".......
Thanks to the help of MOBlueTT, the blower is now in and functional. The kit from Sector111.com came with: brackets, Eaton supercharger w/ 6.5 psi pulley, serpentine belt, larger fuel injectors, GReddy intake manifold. I had sent the ECU out last week to be reflashed to the supercharger tune.
This kit is super stealthy.....to pop the engine lid, you'd really have to know what you were looking for to see any difference. You can't even tell there's a supercharger in there.
To have 50 more horses on this thing is amazing. Feels like a totally different car now. So much more of the rev range is more usable. The 2nd cam kicks in now at around 5500 rpm as opposed to 6500......Squeeze the loud pedal in this thing from 1st gear and 8400 rpm is there before you know it, you are having to watch the road and the tach at the same time because everything happens so fast. 80 mph is there in a flash.....Stuff goes by in such a blur. It's like being in a time warp tunnel.
During WOT, the noise of the intake, plus the blower, plus the stage II exhaust make this thing sound like an F1 car.
