Changes at the Modshack.......>
For the past 4 years you guys have kept me pretty busy! Almost 1000 airboxes built since the days of the paint can! Recent slowdowns in the economy, demographic changes etc. have seen business decline pretty significantly over the past few months. Whether or not it will come back is anyone's guess. Heck, you guys have pretty much everything I've come up with already, so my market is pretty saturated! The new guys seem to have different priorities in case you haven't noticed. In order to keep from going mad with boredom I've taken on a full time position with the Census Bureau for the next year. I'll be basically managing their new Greenville office. I figure I can do anything for a year!
Modshack will move to a part time Gig effective 10/1. What does this mean? Not much really, except potentially a bit longer window between orders and ship-out. All the tools and capabilities remain, only the hours available to work change. Some products that are slow and inventory intensive may disappear.
Communications will be limited to the evening hours etc. With the amount of work lately that should all be pretty transparent. Thanks for all the support over the years...I'll still be around, just not quite so prolific..(much to the relief of my personal trolls).
