Did the 6 speed ever come in the 180hp versions of just the 225's?

Did the 6 speed ever come in the 180hp versions of just the 225's?

Another new buyer questions for all you experts..

Just checking what i read is correct and that i understand it really... the 225hp versions from 2001-2003 can be ID'd easly because they a 6 speed box right? There was not a 6 speed 180hp verion... is that correct?

no 6 speed MANUAL transmissions in 180's....(edited for John) ;-)

Technically the tiptronic in the later 180s was a 6-speed

not from the factory they didnt, its easy ot make a 5spd quattro tranny into a 6spd tho

they are the same tranny, there is a spacer blocking off where teh missing gear go's...... or just toss in a used 225 tranny..... dropps right in......
