stock? Alot of people report them being fairly worn at 10k.

10K sounds like some extreme driving was done..typical is 30-60

Default My shocks were shot at 20 and it was all normal driving >>
Granted it was NY/NJ driving but still.

By shot I mean you could move them completely in and out by hand with almost no effort. They probably started going bad at 15.

Default Not really... lots of posts here about shocks on their way out at very early ages
Mine were certainly worn and had much less body control at 10k miles.

Default Depends on how sensitive you are to handling nuances....>
Personally by 5K my car was doing things I didn't like.

Default My 1st set of rears lasted 15K. audi replaced them with the 'S-Line'...>>
that only lasted the same amount of time.

The fronts started going before 20K.

Very crappy shocks.

Default I'm sure I'm not the only one still on stock suspension (70k miles).
Albeit I'm sure it's not in the greatest of shape and it doesn't ride like new, but it still gets me down the road without any odd noises or fidgety handling.
