Default Auto lift options. Compared to a low-clearance 2-post car lift, has anybody worked with or owned

I'm still trying to get this garage put together (had to build a stupid fence and house-addition already), but now have a shot at nailing the garage down. Any thoughts about this setup would be most appreciated. Thanks all!!!<ul><li><a href="http://www.carguygarage.com/6flmocarli.html">http://www.carguygarage.com/6flmocarli.html</a</li></ul>

Default What's your ceiling height? You can get a real 2-post lift for WAY less than that...

Holy crap that's cheap. What am I missing about that brand? I've never heard of it.

Default That's interesting. Not to knock it at all... because I have no experience with these

but is that what their competitor would call a "hobby lift"?? The only thing I'd want to avoid would be working under something that's "Harbor Freight" quality. Not saying this is the case at all, just wondering if you have any inside info on this. If it's the same quality, sans the advertising budget, it looks awesome! Thanks for the link.

Default Pricey and not much lift...>

Bend-Pak MD6-XP has worked well for me..
Bout $16-1700. Several guys have followed my lead here. Flawless performance over the past 6 years..

Looks like a Bend-Pak ripped off picture but if it was the real deal they'd say so as Bend-Pak has a good reputation and one of the bigger players in the market....<ul><li><a href="http://www.bendpak.com/products/automotive-lifts/specialty-lifts.php">http://www.bendpak.com/products/automotive-lifts/specialty-lifts.php</a</li></ul>

Default There are lotsa Chinese clones out there......>

Bend-Pak seems to be regularly copied. Websites are vague, but the look is identical. Worth it IMO to pay the few hundred more for a well engineered, well constructed lift with an experience base out there..&lt;squish!&gt;

Default OK then shack.... how about a 4-post. Bend-Pak or any others??? I'm thinking that

maybe a low ceiling 4post lift will need to be my Christmas present.

Any leads, or favorite websites? I know basically everything available on Earth now is Chinese made $hit... and it's VERY hard at times to tell the difference and steer away from the real crappy stuff. Especially some of the companies that used to produce real nice stuff are now making junk. Ie., some of the Lincoln stuff, etc...

Default The company is based in Indiana, and they have a showroom of these lifts. They are

way better than Harbor Freight quality. They may be made in China (I don't know), but they are a quality product.
