Default Roadster rear windscreen problem: fixed

Well, after 9 days at the dealer, the rear windscreen on my 2003 TTR is fixed. Luckily, I was covered under CPO; I don't even want to guess what this would have cost without the warranty.

I had been having frequent problems with the windscreen not wanting to raise/lower via the console switch, particularly when it was warm outside. The console switch was replaced but it did not fix the problem.

The dealer determined that the problem was the relay/control module for the wind deflector, but the module was not located with the motor where they expected. Here's an excerpt from the service invoice; maybe it will save someone else some pain in the future.

Default any chance they know much time it took to replace the wind deflecter relay?

Glad this was under warranty and thanks for posting. This will definitely help in the future for roadster owners.

Default 2nd that, I wonder if Bentley manual has it wrong as well in their diagram.

I will have to remember to check that out.

Default I honestly don't know- I'm guessing a fraction of the time it took to pull the interior apart

Of the nine days, I think two or three were shot just waiting on parts.
