Loose bolt on output shaft flange, experts needed . . .

Loose bolt on output shaft flange, experts needed . . .
A few days ago I posted the first pic below, and now I have better photos (second pic). I found the bolt just as you see it. How worried should I be about this if it's stripped? I put a wrench on it and it did not want to get very tight (I'll look at it again tomorrow). I had a seal replaced in that location a few years ago by the dealer and expect something didn't go right.
