Default Loose bolt on output shaft flange, experts needed . . .

A few days ago I posted the first pic below, and now I have better photos (second pic). I found the bolt just as you see it. How worried should I be about this if it's stripped? I put a wrench on it and it did not want to get very tight (I'll look at it again tomorrow). I had a seal replaced in that location a few years ago by the dealer and expect something didn't go right.

Oh crap. If you can't get it to stay in, you have to take it out. This is not good..

Yeah, thought so. I could drop the driveshaft and helicoil it I suppose.

I'd try to back it out as far as you can, clean exposed threads, apply Loctite (red?) to the exposed threads and screw it back in.
