Timing Belt and Water Pump a DIY job?

is replacing the timing belt and water pump a job a DYI mechanic can do?

So after just getting the car and not have all the documents I would like with it I don't know if this has been done. Its 01 225hp coupe with 94k on it now and the ower said the belt had been replaced but it was "a couple of years ago" He was pretty sure the water pump had not been done.

That said how hard is it to change out? I have ordered the Bentley but it wont be here until Friday, if it's a doable job for you average DIY wrench kind of person I'll order the parts and be ready for this weekend..

Also is there a write up on how to do this post somewhere?
