Default Need Some Help Boost drop from 21lbs. to 15lb. upgraded to flash and dropped to 12-13 lbs.

I Moved out to California 6 mounths ago and the other day I saw my battery was going bad, started getting corrosive on the POsitive side of the battery.Upgraded to the Optima Red .
Heard it has been a ood choice for the TT.

Went into service for battery with 21 lbs. came out with 15 lbs. on the boost gauge.
Thought maybe I needed to have my chip upgraded. Have had it for about 4 going on 5 years and never had a problem.
"Socketed Giac."
Great , enjoyed all it brought to the car.
2001 TT Roadster AWD
Also had the Haldex (filter and fluids) done while it went in for the battery.
Anyway sent the ECU back to Giac and after I plugged it in.
Turned the key forward but didn't start it and let it sit for 3 = Three Minutes to clear the memory.
Then started it.
I also hooked up the
View more Cen-Tech OBD II CODE READER from HArbor Freight to clear the DTC codes.
and after all the upgrade and all the clearing of codes and what not.
I now dropped to around hitting at 12- 13 lbs.
and it feel like at arounf 3500 - 4000 rpm's it shut down on fuel.
I replaced the air filter with a new K&N
Changed out the Turbo Hose with a new APR
Haldex Fluid anf Filter
New VF Dog Bone Mount
Battery / Optima
I was also told that a pressure switch was pissing out underneath the car and it had to be replaced.
They also replaced a O2 sensor the rear one on the exhaust.
So I am speachless at what is causing this.
It feels like it has had a heart attack and is on it's death bed. It wants to go but has a hard time getting to 100 anymore.
I want to get the 21 lbs. of boost that the car was putting out for the past years since I first got the car Chipped.
I did have it upgraded to the flash.
Makes no since.
I was going to have a vacume test done on the car to check for pressure leaks.
But if anyone has run into these symptons please feel free to drop a reply with thoughts on how and what to check for on these issues.
Thank you for your Help.

Also if you can recomend a good shop that works on Audi TT's 1.8 Turbo cars in Los Angeles around the San Fernando Valley / Burbank I would appreciate the help.

Default my head hurts from reading that, but see>>>

first, have a GIAC shop re-flash the ecu. mine had a bad flash and had some weird boost/limp mode issues until it was re-flashed. second, have the car pressure tested to see if you have any boost leaks.

hope that helps.

Default Re: stopped by shop today and they were baffled Had no idea what to say

Told me to search for leak myself and check all the check valves.
Does anybody have a diagram for the check valves he is talking about.
Also I will look into having the ECU Giac Chip reflashed.
But, I just got it back from sending it off to have he upgrade from Socket chip to Flash.
Would they have not noticed it before sending it back to me?
Does anyone have a goood shop that can work on this car in LA ?
