I recently acquired a Hardtop and all the hardware from Warren (stilljester) and I can't say enough good things about him.

For now the Hardtop is stored in a secret location in (NJ), and the hardware returned to AK with me.

Since the hardware is as rare as the hardtop itself I decided it wasn't going to leave my side. Warren had already packed it up nicely in a small box and I decided to add some documents and pictures in case there were questions.

Last Tuesday Newark Airport was the typical logistical nightmare because somebody saw a snowflake. My flight was cancelled and I had to go back through security a second time. The first time they opened the box and asked a couple questions. The second time set off all the alarms and I damn near got strip searched! I suppose all the metal and composite parts with wires, bolts, etc. packed tightly might raise an eyebrow? :-O

It had me laughing all the way home.

 

Nice find. Some day it will be worth more than the car!
