Ok so shoot me I'm not the smoothest stick guy on the planet. However, I'm guessing that some transmission and motor mount replacements will help to minimize some of clunks I hear when I *sometimes* don't quite shift like I should ;-)
I track the car every so often. What motor and transmission mount mods are recommended by the fine set of motorheads on this here for(um)(uh)(ack!)?

Unless you're a fan of increased vibration. Also, with a 2004, good chance the main mounts are still OK, but the Dogbone is probably questionable. That's what controls the fore and aft rocking of the engine and is usually the Clunk suspect under the conditions you describe..

Does the energy suspension dogbone need to be replaced eventually?
I have 4 years and 40,000 miles on my dogbone and just installed the 42dd downpipe. Any reason to replace? Engine/transmission mounts are new.

Dr. Schwing ... 15.1105 instead of 15.1105G ???...>>
At www.suspension.com...
1) there is a 15.1105 part num that is a 4 piece set ($26.50) but doesn't list Audi TT. That set includes 2 round bushings.
2) there is a B15.1105G that is a 2 piece set with NO round bushings that does list Audi TT.
3) The set in your Fokti pics looks like a 3 piece set and is part num 15.1105G
