Got check engine light this morning...
turned on when stopped at a red light, no change in performance. Tried to tighten the gas cap. Would be too worried about it, but I'm suppose to drive to Detroit on Saturday from Pittsburgh. Anyone know of a place in Pittsburgh I can at least diagnostic the problem? I live on South Side, so somewhere on that side of town would be preferable.

if you just want to diagnose >
you can run to any autozone, advance auto, pep boys and they will scan the car for free... that will tell you what is wrong. we can help tell you if it's unsafe to drive (might be, might not be)
another idea might be to post in the detroit forum and see if anyone has a VAGCOM and can meet up.

17704 coolent temp gague...
my friend seems to think it is alright to drive on we cleared the code and I drove about a mile home in city traffic and the light didn't come back on. What do you guys think?
