Best place to snowboard, locally?

and after conquering Mt.Trashmore in Evanston, we're ready to take on something bigger. He's 7 and I'm 43, where can we get some lessons that don't cost an arm & a leg?
Also we came in 4th with our R8 entry in the "Pinewood Derby". A girl was the overall winner, I think her dad works for NASA or something...

Depends where you live. A really small place is Four Lakes in Lisle. If you're north Wilmont

Both Wilmont and Alpine are both close kiddie hills and pretty cheap...

But no matter what fake snow is going to suck and probably be icy.

a girl? isn't the pineword derby for boy scouts?

punch the dad in the face and tell him to put his little girl in the GIRL scouts! they have it for a reason.
i hate how society is like this nowadays.
