ugh, just got home from the 8 hour driver safety class
got a speeding ticket last august on the day before my birthday. i put not guilty on the ticket, called a lawyer, and showed up for court expecting my lawyer to do something and get me out of it. my lawyer never showed up in court (!) but the judge was being nice in all of the cases before me so i just pleaded guilty and hoped for the best. she asked if i had ever taken drivers school before and i said yes, so she gave me the 8 hour class.
however, as i found out today from the teacher at the class (which was at roosevelt university) you are eligible for the 4 hour class again after only 1 year since you last /registered/ for a previous class. so i could have said no in court and got the 4 hour class again since the last time i went to any class was like 2 years ago. grr.
anyway, the 8 hour class is brutal. no passing-the-chicken video, but you have to watch like 4 different videos throughout the class. wasted a whole day sitting in a classroom learning how to control my road rage...

8 hour is ok... but the 8 hour for license suspension? THAT one is a hoot! also, take the classes
in the city, the people are more outrageous and hence it is more fun... heehee...
but the license suspension class is full of crazy people who ALL think they are innocent... it is actually kinda fun.
