the weather is getting better, and i have just started what is going to be a long detail.....(just did interior and it took me three hours....great...) anyway, tonight or tommorow morning i will polish/wax and tommorow morning im going for a cruise!!

How bad can the inside of your car be already? Is it just that you like it shinny on the inside or was it actually dirty? OK we all know I am a total nOOb when it comes to detailing, I am actually curious. What would you charge to hit my car with a clay bar?

the inside wasnt too bad, mostly worked on just getting the salt and stuff out of my mats (B6 winter floormats have been recalled, so i couldnt get any) i also treated the leather, it didnt really need it very much, but i was feeling **** so i did it anyway. ur right though, generally you only need to treat the leather like every 4-6 months. (even that is pretty often). I usually throw down a coat of interrior dressing as well because, as you correctly guessed, i like it shiny

If you wanted me to detail your car i would be happy to, you only need to clay bar it if there is alot of gunk embedded in the paint, if it is just a little scratched or hazy, it just needs a polishing (gets rid of hairline scratches and helps replace lost oils and the such). and then a nice coat of carnuba wax. i also do the wheels alot (especially with superleggeras, which are a bitch to clean, when you wax em, it helps the dirt and brake dust just wash right off with a hose).

I need to wax all my wheels
well maybe just the 8 I use in the summer. I have 2 bad scratches that I need painted and the paint is pretty rough. The interior is not too bad, cloth sport seats, but if I don't do the outside soon it will just get harder.

yea..
thats another reason i am so ****, it actually makes things easier in the long run. the longer you wait to clean it, the harder it gets. I didnt take good enough care of my durango, and the brake dust just baked on the wheels, i coldnt get it off. now i have to do a full mag polish on them.
