Default Lollipop Rally 2004

hey guys, I'm not sure if any of you remember but last year I posted about an event that I help organize called the Lollipop Rally. Most of you i'm sure know what the gumball rally or the cannonball run are and this event is a sort of spin off with the average person in mind. We have a much more affordable price tag

We ran the event last year and the response was great so we decided to make this an annual event. We are currently taking registrations for this years run.

Check out www.lollipoprallyusa.com for more details, out website is still undergoing updates but is up and running right now

if you have any questions please fell free to email me at chris@bluegenie-ent.com

Check it out, we have a lot in store this year including a private SCCA sanctioned autocross and more.

Default sweet

it would be cool if we got a big audi showing at this thing. looks like a good time. i have to wonder where the 400 bucks goes though? (though i guess the whole autocross thing has to do with it). anyone else seriously considering doing this?

you are right, a huge chunk of the money goes towards the autox, the SCCA isn't cheap to have a private autox, it also goes towards the participation packages which include motorola talkabout, apparel, and other things, also misc. costs such as website, promotion, etc.

Default I read the site and have a question.....

..the solo 2 auto-x, where is it going to be held? At a track?

I also didn't see details about the route or schedule. Did I just miss it? Is it just a drive or is it a time / distance rally? Is there points or something to earn? How do I win?

the rally itself is not a competition, there are no winners or losers its just a chance to experience something new. If you read the recap on our site written by a parcipant from last year you may get a feel for what its like

as far as the solo2 it is being held in the lot of the compuserve ice arena, its a pretty big lot. I'll have to double check with my boss but i believe they are giving out awards to the winners, again, not positive, i need to check on that

the route is still being finalized and we are not going to release an exact route until the day of the rally to avoid possible complications
