7/29 VW Gingerman Track day
Hi All,
I have received word from the Chicagoland Volkswagen Organization that they
are opening up their Summer Track Day to all participants. This is a chance
for everyone to get in some inexpensive track time with a nice bunch of
people.
Date: Friday, July 23rd
Time: Mandatory tech inspection begins at 7:00 am EST, mandatory driver
meeting at 8:00
Location: Gingerman Raceway, South Haven MI http://www.gingermanraceway.com/
Cost: A low, low $125, regardless of car make or club affiliation.
You must commit (and pay!) by July 9th. If 30 entries are not received by
that date, the event is going to be cancelled. Send a check with your info
to:

Cam, not sure what their policy is, but you could do "Test & Tune" the night before...
Drive in on Thursday night, and you can run Test & Tune session for only $60 from 5:30 to dark. You can take your passengers then, w/o restriction. It's a heck of a deal, and gives you a taste of the track before the event... Just call ahead to make sure that they will be running T&T, but 99.5% it is...

Answers to your questions cameron...
answer to your 1st question about our CVO Trackday pre-pay form. Currently we are first seeing if we have at least 30 dedicated drivers for our Trackday on 7.23.04 at G-Man, if we do we will then have a registration form available per our website. Payment can be done at anypoint to our CVO email address once we know the event is going to happen...
2nd answer is unfortunately due to the insurance coverage policy we are not able to allow ride-alongs. Quoted "No ride alongs unless you are an instructor. Since this is going to be more informal CVO Trackday at Gingerman I am not setting up an instructor crew."

p.s. finally figured out a way around the firewall
