anyone have experience with IL vanity plates?

i have a question or two. i wanted to get some 'university of illinois' IL plates, and was wondering if anyone knew if you get those types of plates with a vanity type number/letter combo with that?

any good gov sites to check up on this?

Vanity plates + Chicago = Keyed car.

Happens most to the vain.

haha or just drive to a game at US Cellular...

thatll pretty guarantee a keyed car too.

I have been considering the DePaul plates

and I think you only get numbers and have no option as to what they are.

I have the Walter Payton / Bears Donor plates

Pick em up at the state building. Walk in, pay $35, walk out. Easy, done.

With a tinted plate cover they appear black with white letters. Looks cool IMHO.
