Fletcher Jones Dealership! major problems...(more)-Long-

A week from monday, I droped off my 2004 S4 For transmission problems. I noticed when driving it the day befor, on Sunday, it was hard to get into gear, and the cluth engaged nearly 1 cm, off the floor! Monday moring I got in it to run some erronds and stop by the dealer near me, "Fletcher jones" and I could barly get it into gear! I live at State and Division, by the time i got to Clark and Division (2 blocks away), i had no conrol over the gears, i could not even roll, i was basicly stuck in first. I JUST made it into the dealer and when i put it in the service ramp, the porter came to move it. When i service advisor asked what the problem was, i said, "watch, lets see how far the porter gets". Of course, he could not even get it rolling! I signed the paperwork and left. Friday afternoon, my service advisor called me and said that the repairs, costing 800-900$ would not be covered by Audi! The car has 5000 miles on it, and is barly driven. Iv driven a manual for years befor this, yet they say it is driver damage! Has anybody else had major problems with this dealer, or with a 2004 6-speed S4? Thanks-

Take it to another dealer

Have it towed (should be covered by Audi Roadside Assistance) to another dealer. Very few people here have good things to say about FJ.

Yep, I've heard that denying warrany claims on trans/clutch probs is the way they handle things now

Agree with the rest FJ sucks. A bunch os asses. Take it to the Exhange.
