Default Saturday went well at the Theatre...

Dinner was good, I looked at all your suggestions, couldnt pick one out of the bunch and decided on Mortons(parents reccomendation) Great filet, metled in your mouth, their desserts are the best, had a decent bottle of wine with dinner. Les Mis was ehhh for the first half. the character build up was a bit too slow. After the intermission it got much better. If anyone has seen it, the little boy that plays the tough orphan was incredible. All and all it was a great night. Felt like a first date again with the G-friend. That is all!!!

Default Congrats. I agree act 1 is slow and Gavroche is a strong child role. IMO.Over-powers young Cosette.

I highly doubt they were the same actor as I saw it in 1996. The Gavorche I saw is old enough to be Marius.

Mortons is a good "safe" choice. Some of the others mentioned are less mainstream. Try those next time. 8-)
