Buy the 1990 V8 Quattro or keep my 1989 90Q?
<center><img src="http://ullrichsys.com/BKU/Mimi/v8q.jpg"></center><p>I am in a dilemma. I have sourced a 1990 V8 Quattro here in Il. at an auction for about $1100. But I just purchased a 1989 90Q, and have put a couple of hundred $$ in her already. Is it worth me chucking what I've done thus far in the 90Q to pursue the V8Q?
Just wanna get the opinions of my esteemed fellow Audi'ers.
I basically know nothing about this car other than it runs, and is expected to drive away from the auction. No idea of the mileage, but I have seen a picture of it, included above.

That's a very expensive car
I bet it might even be cheaper to find a 97 A8 with 150K miles for $6,000....the V8 is a very expensive car to maintain. Very low production numbers in the US, I think about 5,000 total.
The A8 is the progression of the V8, while expensive to maintain, it's just a higher quality car with more bugs worked out.
