New coilovers installed on S4 Cab. Look Great, Handle Great.
When stock the ride height was 26.25" in the front and 26" in the rear. After the coilover install they are at 24.5" at all four corners. this is set at the middle setting. I can raise it about 1" or lower it another 0.75".
Overall I am very happy with the result. The car looks great and handleing is a world of difference. Higher speeds are much smoother and the car handles like it is on rails (even better then before.)
The ride is a little rougher but that is what you would expect.
Overall I am very happy with it so far.
Oh.. and found out that it is possible to drop a S4 cab so low that you will have trouble to do an alignment. We had to take the belly pan off the car. The problem was that parts of the alignment machine that are on each wheel need to have a line of sight with each other via laser for calibration. Well the car is so low now that we had to take off the belly pan and play with the way the machine was setup in order to make sure they could see each other

The mechanic who installed it for me was very good. Took 9.5 hours, as he took the time to make sure the alignment was perfect and he redid one of the rear wheel coilover installations as he was not happy with the way it looked. If anyone needs a mechanic for upgrades or for fixing issues he is very good and very resonable in price.
