All I can say was it was just totally awesome! I met a few new Chicago people, had a blast! All great guys.....too bad we didn't get to know the audi.ag girl better! :-)

My car was hooked up on Sunday.....the tires were amazing all weekend, reduced understeer so much.

Chris A. brought me around in my car on Friday, showed me a great line! Thanks Chris!

On Sunday I found myself in the throttle all the way so much sooner than previously, I could be in full throttle at the apex cone on turn 1, half way around turn 3, laying into it all the way on the toliet bowl after the first 1/3rd and finally got comfortable on turn 11 on my last session.....was hanging it out!

It didn't hurt that Mike S was up there taking pictures.....gave me a reason to get over my fear!

One significant new technique I learned was to sit closer to the wheel! Thanks Luke and Chris explaining this to me. That, combined with my seats allowed for no moving around inside the vehicle. It's much easier to finesse the car when your body is turning the wheel and your elbows and wrists are just doing the fine adjustments. If you sit back further, your arms, elbows and wrists have to do all the work....and they can't do it effecitively.

The rotors were blue.....you have to like that! No brake fade once the whole weekend!

I had to leave after the first run session on Sunday to catch a flight to Phoenix.....I'm a generator expert you know.... :-)

The largest generating plant in the country, three 1100 or so MW electrical nuclear plants on one site......about 60 miles West of Phoenix.

For cooling water they pump the waste water from Phoenix out there (really, they do), treat it and use it to cool the plant.

The weather was just a tad bit different.
