ACCCC Spring Drive registration now open!!!
Annual Audi Car Club Chicagoland Chapter Spring Drive (usually called the AACCCCSD) registration is now open! The website www.audichicago.org is now accepting sign-ups for the drive, which is Sunday, May 15, and meets on Lake Michigan in Wilmette around 9:30 a.m.
The Club has all sorts of events, but this is the most family oriented one we do. It consists of meeting up in the morning and chatting for a bit and getting to see old friends and meet new people. We send the cars off with a map of the route and some details about what they're seeing. Take as many stops in small parks or other neat places along the way - there's no time limit. When you arrive at end, we'll have a full restaurant buffet with chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, and lots of other goodies (including a full bar - at your cost), while again you get to talk to friends.
We're planning on wrapping up around 2 (but stay and hang out as long as you like), which leaves time for individual/family activities near the end of the drive, which is Kenosha. Outlet malls, cheese shops, Great America - whatever tickles your fancy! So plan to make a day out of it with your family.
