I remember. I waited patiently for the right lane to begin.
I moved right and then the people in front of me stopped hard. I saw nothing in the way so I just coasted for a sec before I realized it was time for a panic stop.

Ten years ago the flow was 80mph from Boughton to North.
Those were the good old days I guess. It used to take me 35-40 minutes to go from Orland to Lombard. Now it takes me that long to go from Downers to Glendale Hts.

Yup. And even one year ago you could fly through the I-Pass only lanes.
Now I move into the southbound manual collection lanes in the evening. The I-Pass drive through lanes have turned into parking lots. Do our Illinois politicians have any more clever ideas? At least Ryan fixed the Hillside Strangler <rolling eyes>.
35-40 minutes from Downers to G.H.? That's horrible. I'm 5-10 minutes less than that from Glen Ellyn to Hoffman Estates.
